Satkhira Jamaat chief arrested Abdul Khaleque Mandal

SATKHIRA: Law enforcers arrested district unit Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and also former lawmaker Abdul Khaleque Mandal.

He was arrested from Khalilnagar village of Satkhira Sadar upazila on Sunday evening.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge Golam Rahman said that Abdul Khaleque was accused in at least 24 cases, including several murder cases.

He was fugitive from February 28, 2013, the OC added.
