DHAKA: The fifth session of 10th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) is scheduled to be resumed Tuesday afternoon after five days’ adjournment.

The 14th day’s proceedings of the parliament will start at 4:30pm.

On February 4, Deputy Speaker M Fazle Rabbi Mia adjourned the session till 4:30pm of February 10 (Tuesday) so that the lawmakers could visit their own constituencies to thwart sabotage and violent activities of BNP-led 20-parties.

However, most of the parliamentarians did not visit their constituencies. Rather, they observed the situation staying in Dhaka.

They blamed prevailing situation saying that they will not be secured enough in their constituencies.
