DHAKA: Three activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir, student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, were held in city’s Mohakhali area on Thursday afternoon.
The detainees are Abul Hossain Mollah, Obaidur Rahman and Rajib Hossain.
Sources said that, acting on a tip-off, Banani Thana police led a special drive in the area and nabbed them around 5:00pm.
They are being quizzed in police custody, the sources added.
Banani Thana Officer-in-Charge (investigation) Shahed Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews.
