DHAKA: Turkey ambassador Huseyin Muftuoglu made a courtesy call to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan political office in the city on Sunday.

Sources said the envoy entered the BNP chief’s office at 4:45pm on the day.

They discussed Bangladesh’s ongoing political situation, the sources added.
