FENI: A driver of a covered van along with helper was burnt in a petrol bomb attack here on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Rampur Rastar Matha area Sunday night.

Sources said the incident took place around 8:45pm.

Miscreants, according to the locals, left the scene soon after they hurled petrol bomb at the vehicle, leaving the driver and his helper burnt.

Feni additional police super (SP) Saiful Haque confirmed the matter.

He said later, police rushed to the spot and sent the victims to Feni Sadar Hospital.
