DHAKA: The ruling Awami League (AL) has begun its rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Saturday to mark the historic March 7.
The rally started at 3:15pm with recitation from holy books of different religions.
Top leaders of Awami League-led 14-party alliance are seen present on the rally stage.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the president of AL, has already reached Suhrawardy Udyan rally as the chief guest.
