DHAKA: Prime Minister Hasina reiterated that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia should surrender before court as summon order had been issued asking her to appear before it.

“Surrender before the court abiding by law, otherwise, the government will be forced to comply with the court order,” the premier said.

She came up with the warning while addressing a rally at Krishibid Institute auditorium in the capital on Saturday organized by Professionals Coordination Council.

Pointing to BNP chief Khaleda Zia, the Prime Minister said court is the right place for her. Surrender before the court is better option for the BNP chief.

Regarding BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s demand at Friday’s press conference, the premier said what dialogue with her whose hands were bloodstained and bad smell of burnt human.

PM Hasina, at the rally, again ruled out any possibility of holding dialogue with the killer.

About missing Salauddin Ahmed, Sheikh Hasina said he used to send statements from an unknown place, everyone knows he was there (Chairperson’s Gulshan political office)

"We are also looking for Salauddin. Police will arrest him after knowing his whereabouts,” she added.

Justice AFM Mesbah Uddin, president of Professionals’ Coordination Council, presided over the meeting.
