DHAKA: Two persons including a police constable were injured as a group of alleged hartal and blockade supporters blasted four cocktails in city’s Paltan area on Sunday.

Paltan Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Rajib Sarkar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said some miscreants blasted four cocktails in front of Top Collection near BNP office in the area around 11:45am, leaving shop assistant Hanif Munshi, 28, and a police constable, Mizan, injured.

The injured, hanif who hurt by sprinters, was whisked off to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) and constable Mizan was rushed to Rajarbagh Police Line Hospital.
