CHITTAGONG: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized seven petrol bombs from Chotto Kumira area under Sitakunda upazila of the district early Monday.
Major Tanvir Mahmood, deputy commander of BGB-28 Battalion, told banglanews that, on tip-off, they conducted a drive at a bush in the area around 1:30am and recovered the petrol bombs.
The law enforcers suspected that the petrol bombs might be gathered here to create sabotage on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway.
However, none was arrested in this connection, the major added.
