DHAKA: Police detained at least 106 people including 15 BNP-Jamaat-e-Islami men in Jessore and Gaibandha districts early Thursday.
Jessore police control room sources said 69 men including six BNP and four Jamaat men were held in overnight drives in eight upazilas of the district.
Moreover, Gaibandha Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mosharraf Hossain told banglanews that they nabbed 37 people accused in several cases.
Among the accused, five are Jamaat activists, he added.
