DHAKA: Nagarik Oikya coordinator Mahmudur Rahman Manna was sent back to Central Jail on Thursday noon after his treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
He was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital following a chest pain on Wednesday night.
DMCH medical camp police assistant sub-inspector Sentu Chandra Das confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier, jail super Farman Ali told banglanews that Manna was admitted to DMCH.
Police, earlier on February 24, arrested the leader from city’s Banani area and filed a sedition case against him following his anti-government phone conversations.
