DHAKA: BNP’s Dhaka metropolitan city unit will stage demonstrations in the city on Saturday demanding the safe return of the party’s joint-secretary general and also a former state minister Salahuddin Ahmed.
Dhaka metropolitan city BNP convener Mirza Abbas and member secretary Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel declared the program in a press release sent to the media on Thursday.
They said that the nation is anxious regarding the missing of BNP joint-secretary general and also a former state minister Salahuddin Ahmed. The government agencies did not announce his detainment even after ten days of his missing.
Blaming the government, the BNP leaders said that despite repeated demands from BNP and the missing leader’s family, the government took little measures in finding out Salahuddin.
Dhaka metropolitan city unit BNP will arrange demonstration in every thana and ward of the city on Saturday demanding the government of safe return of their party leader Salahuddin Ahmed.
In the statement, they also requested the party people to join the demonstrations.
