MAGURA: Nine persons received burn injuries on Magura-Jessore Highway in Maghidal area Saturday night as a group of miscreants blasted a petrol bomb aiming at a workers-carrying truck.

The victims were rushed to Magura Sadar Hospital while conditions of five among them are critical.

Magura Sadar Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Jahangir Alam said that the workers were returning home after their works.

The miscreants hurled a petrol bomb aiming the truck leaving nine workers aboard burnt, he added.
