DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will informally hold a discussion with her party leaders on Sunday evening.

Party sources said that the BNP chief does not want to waste time regarding the upcoming city corporation elections.

She will talk to the leaders about the party’s strategy on city polls, the sources added.

According to them, the discussion will be held when leaders, who reside in Gulshan and Baridhara areas, will come to meet the BNP chief.

They claimed that the discussion will especially be held on the selection of Dhaka North poll contender.

However, the meeting can likely be held at Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office in the evening, said a source without confirming the matter.

But another source commented that there is little possibility to go to her political office today.
