Next legal step after consultation

DHAKA: The defence lawyers are set to meet war criminal and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Muhammad Kamaruzzaman Monday morning as the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court upheld the death penalty of him.

They will meet their client within two hours at Dhaka Central Jail to discuss about next legal step after the rejection of review petition.

Kamaruzzaman’s lawyer Shishir Monir made the remark in an immediate reaction of the verdict pronouncement.
