DHAKA: Bikalpadhara Bangladesh senior joint secretary general Mahi B Chowdhury and also a contender of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) election on Wednesday sought support from all nationalist forces, including BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia as the leader.

He made the assertion at a press conference organized on the occasion of his poll campaign at National Press Club in city.

Mahi said that he believes in nationalism and seeks support from the nationalist people including Khaleda Zia, coining the leader as the doyen of nationalist forces.

Khaleda Zia is a voter of Dhaka North; I seek her vote for me, Mahi explained.

Terming himself a leader on behalf of the youth, Mahi upheld his plans to build Dhaka as a modern city.

At the conference, he also vowed to fight corruption after winning the polls.
