DHAKA: British high commissioner to Bangladesh Robert W Gibson made a courtesy call to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The meeting was held at BNP chief’s Gulshan residence in city around 5:00pm on Wednesday.

BNP standing committee Dr Moin Khan, among others, was present at the meeting.

However, it was the first ever meeting with a diplomat since Khaleda’s leaving of her political office after 92 days on April 5.
