BNP-Jamaat men among 26 arrested in Gaibandha

GAIBANGHA: Police arrested 26 persons, including five BNP-Jamaat men, in overnight drives in different parts of the district.

The drives were conducted from Monday night to Tuesday morning.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Gaibandha additional police super (ASP) Mosharraf Hossain said one BNP and four Jamaat activists were arrested in accusation of creating violence.

The other arrestees were accused in different cases, he added.
