DHAKA: State Minister of Homes Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal claimed that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s motorcade was attacked due to overplay of her security squad called Chairperson’s Security Force (CSF).

The state minister came up with this assertion while talking to reporters in secretariat of the city Tuesday noon.

He said a case has been filed in this regards and another one in under process.

CSF attacked on the people, who showed black flags to the BNP campaigners. The force members also tried to take a man into the vehicle, the state minister alleged.

At one stage, the people had thrown brick-chips on CSF, he claimed.

However, a group of miscreants attacked Khaleda Zia’s motorcade with brick chips and wooden sticks, leaving scores injured and several vehicles damaged.
