DHAKA: Police pressed charges against 42 leaders and activists of BNP men, including joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and chairperson’s adviser Mosadek Ali Falu in a case filed under special power act.

Sub-Inspector of Police Rafikul Islam, also the investigation officer (IO) of the case, submitted the charge sheet to Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on Wednesday noon.

Earlier on January 28, the case was filed against them with Mirpur police station.
