DHAKA: Police recovered bullet-hit body of ruling Awami League’s youth front Juba League leader Enayet Kabir Chanchal (45) in city’s Dhanmondi area on Wednesday noon.

The body was recovered from toilet of a garage of House 39 on Road 1 in Dhanmondi. He had been living in the second floor of the building.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Dhanmondi Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abu Bakar Siddique said that Chanchal was a presidium member of Juba League.

According to the OC, the deceased had been suffering mental stress due to the death of her mother a month ago.

However, police recovered the body after breaking the door of the toilet. A registered gun was also recovered from the place.

The Juba League leader may commit suicide, the OC added.
