DHAKA: Ruling Awami League-backed mayoral candidate for Dhaka North City Corporation Anisul Haque cast his vote hoping to win the polls.

He cast his vote at Banani Bidyaniketon School on Tuesday morning. He will also visit other vote centers of his area.

Amid tight security, voters started casting their ballots to elect new mayors of Dhaka North, Dhaka South and Chittagong City Corporations on Tuesday morning.

Voting that started at 8:00am will continue till 4:00pm.

Election Commission (EC) took adequate preparation for a free, fair and impartial voting in the polls.
