DINAJPUR: Police arrested a member of Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebok Dal central committee, also Dinajpur city Swechchhasebok Dal unit convener, Bakhtiar Ahmed Kochi, 35, on Saturday night.

Police picked up him from his residence in Baluadanga of the city around 9:30pm.

Dinajpur Kowtali Thana Officer-In-Charge (OC) Khalequzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He was accused in several cases related to sabotages and the man had gone hiding for long, the OC said.
