N’ganj city Jamaat chief held

NARAYANGANJ: Matropolitan city unit amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Mainuddin Ahmed was arrested on Monday morning.

Sources said that police arrested the Jamaat city chief from his residence in Hajiganj of Narayanganj city at 11:00am in the day.

Narayanganj Sadar Model Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Manjur Qader said that they arrested the Jamaat leader as there was a warent aginst him in a case of creating violence.
