GAIBANGHA: Law enforcers in special drives arrested at least 28 persons, including four activists of BNP and its key ally Jamaat-e-Islami, in Gaibandha district on Monday.

Later at noon, police produced the arrestees before the court.

The court then send them to the jail.

District additional police super Mosharraf Hossain told banglanews that the law enforcers conducted special drives across the district and arrested 28 persons, including four BNP-Jamaat men.

The arrestees are accused of different cases, including of vandalism, he added.
