Salahuddin sent to jail

DHAKA: A Shillong court Wednesday sent BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed to jail on charge of intruding into India.

Shillong police took him to custody after he was released from Neigrihms hospital, where he was undergoing treatment from May 20.

The BNP reappeared in Shillong on May 11 after going missing in Dhaka two months back. Later, he was admitted to Shillong Civil Hospital in Meghalaya.
