RAJSHAHI: Police arrested Natore district Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer from Alaipur area of the district in a sabotage case on Sunday afternoon.

The arrestee is Delwar Hossain, Principal of Alaipur College.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Puthia Thana Hafizur Rahman told banglanews that Delwar Hossain was accused in the case over acts of sabotage in Baneshwar area of Puthia upazila after January 5.

The law enforcers conducted a drive in Alaipur area and arrested him in this connection.
