DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain has been admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Thursday morning.

The BNP leader was brought from Kashimpur jail to the hospital as he suddenly fell sick.

BNP media wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said Khandaker Mosharraf is now kept in Incentive Care Unit (ICU) of BSMMU under the supervision of Dr Sajal Banarjee.

According to the physician, several cardiac illness and diabetic complicacies of Khandaker Mosharraf have been detected after diagnosis.

However, the BNP leader has been kept in prison due to the cases filed by Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) for a long.
