DHAKA: BNP chairperson and also former premier Khaleda Zia commented that the nation will head towards crises if a government by the people is not established.
She made the comment at an iftar program, organized by Engineers’ Association of Bangladesh at International Convention City Bashundhara in city Sunday evening.
The BNP chief further said that the incumbent Awami League government is not elected by people. They (ruling AL) have no relation with people.
According to her, the government has taking shelter to corruption and robbery.
‘A government by the people should be established by arranging a fair and neutral election. Otherwise, the nation will head to crises’, Khaleda Zia added.
