DHAKA UNIVERSITY: The next council of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) will be held on July 25-26 at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in city to elect its central committee leadership.

President and general secretary aspirants are asked to collect nomination forms from the central office and submit them between 11:00am on Sunday and 4:00pm on Tuesday.

BCL president HM Badiuzzaman Sohag said at a press conference organized on the occasion of the upcoming council at Dhaka University canteen on Saturday morning.

The aspirants have to deposit Tk 3,000 in Janata Bank account of BCL to collect nominations, he added.

Candidacy seekers must submit photocopy of all academic qualifications, including the original certificate of SSC, along with the nomination form.

Besides, they have to submit a testimonial of their educational institutions as a proof of studentship. In addition, two recent passport size colored photographs of the candidates have to be attached with the forms.

BCL vice-president Joyadev Nandi, senior joint secretaries Shamsul Kabir Rahat, Hasanuzzmaan Tareque and Mostafizur Rahman Mostak, organizing secretary SM Tariqul Islam, social welfare secretary Kazi Enayet Hossain, Dhaka University’s newly elected general secretary Motahar Hossain Prince, among others, were present at the press conference.
