NARAIL: Police arrested Narail district unit president of Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student affiliate Jamaat-e-Islami, on Sunday noon.

The arrestee has been identified as Khan Mohammad Subhan (30), a resident of Makrail village of Lohagora upazila.

Moreover, a shuttergun and two rounds of bullets also recovered from his possession.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Lohagora Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Sheikh Lutfar Rahman said the Shibir leader was accused in several cases, including creating violence.
