Minu denied bail, sent to jail Mizanur Rahman Minu

DHAKA: Rajshahi Metropolitan Magistrate Court (RMMC) has sent BNP joint-secretary general Mizanur Rahman Minu to jail, denying his bail plea in a violence case.

RMMC judge Jayanta Rani Das passed the order on Monday noon.

Earlier, the BNP leader surrendered to the court and appealed for bail.

Later, police brought the BNP leader to jail by riding on a prison-van after getting the court order.
