DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia greeted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League (AL) president, for upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr by sending her an Eid card.

BNP assistant office secretaries Shamimur Rahman Shahim and Asadul Karim Shahin carried the card to the AL president’s political office in city’s Dhanmondi area.

AL sub-committee secretary Sekandar Ali received the card.

Asadul Karim Shahin confirmed the matter to banglanews on Tuesday afternoon.
