DHAKA: Newly appointed state minister for post and telecommunications ministry Tarana Halim categorically said that she will not tolerate any incident of bribery in the office.

‘No mercy on bribery,’ she vowed.

Tarana made the vow when exchanging views with the ministry officials at Secretariat in city after taking the duties.

‘No body will be allowed to bring any gifts neither at office nor home,’ she added.

She warned the officials saying that she does not take bribe and no one will be allowed to use her name in taking bribes.

The state minister also warned the illegal VoIP businesspeople saying that tougher action will be taken against them.

Post and telecommunication secretary Faizur Rahman Chowdhury hoped that they will work more sincerely as they had got a good team leader.
