DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Thursday expressed her greetings to all on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a statement, sent to the media, the BNP chief expressed her heart-felt greetings to the nation as well as Muslims of other countries saying ‘Eid Mubarak’.

She said that Eid-ul-Fitr comes with happiness after a month of fasting. People of every walk of life will celebrate this religious festival overcoming all social barriers. The festival brings fraternity among people.

The statement, signed by party spokesperson Dr Asaduzzaman Ripon, said that the BNP chief also prayed for happiness, welfare and betterment of all Muslims of the world.
