FENI: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 members arrested the general secretary of district unit Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) Friday evening.

The arrestee was identified as SM Salahuddin Mamun.

ASP (Feni Camp) of RAB-7 Subhash Chandra Saha confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He further said acting on a tip off, RAB-7 members arrested Salahuddin Mamun from Daktarpara area of the town around 7:30pm.

There are 22 cases, including murder, robbery and sabotage, filed against him with Feni Model Thana, he added.

Subhash Chandra Saha also said they handed over Mamun to Feni Model Thana.
