Upazila Jamaat secy held in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA: Law enforcers arrested the secretary of Saghata Upazila unit Jamaat-e-Islami Enamul Haque from Bonarpara Railghunti area of the upazila Monday night.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Saghata Police Station Rafiqul Islam told banglanews that they have detained Enamul Haque around 8:00pm.

He was an accused in a case filed over sabotaging the railway, he added.

The Jamaat leader will be sent to the court Thursday, OC added.
