Mosharraf’s bail stayed Khandker Mosharraf Hossain

DHAKA: The Supreme Court stayed for two weeks the bail granted by High Court to senior BNP leader Khandker Mosharraf Hossain in a money laundering case.

An SC bench led by Chief Justice SK Sinha passed the order on Thursday.

High Court granted him bail on August 19 in a case filed by Anti-Corruption Commission on February 6 in 2014 bringing allegation of siphoning off Tk 95 million between 2001 and 2006 when he was the health minister.
