DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Sunday framed charges against BNP leader Mirza Abbas and 38 others in two sabotage cases filed with Mirpur Thana in 2010.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman passed the order in absence of Mirza Abbas, said assistant public prosecutor (APP) Hemayet Uddin Khan.

Lawyers of Mirza Abbas filed a petition seeking more time but court issued arrest warrant against him rejecting the time plea.
