Khaleda mourns Aman Moudud’s death

DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khalda Zia expressed her deep condolence over the pre-mature death of Aman Momtaz Moudud, only son BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed.

The BNP chief made the condolence in a message on Tuesday.

Expressing her deep sympathy to the family member, Khaleda Zia also prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.

BNP spokesperson Dr Asaduzzaman Ripon informed the media.

Aman Momtaz Moudud passed away on way to a Singapore hospital early Tuesday at the age of 38.

Earlier he was admitted at United Hospital in the capital as he was suffering from dengue fever on September 12.

He faced cardiac arrest on following day. As per doctor’s advice, family members decided to take him to a Singapore hospital for better treatment as his condition was deteriorating.

On Tuesday morning, he breathed his last on the air ambulance which was carrying him to Singapore.

BNP acting secretary general of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam also mourned his death and prayed for his departed soul.
