DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has sent Eid greetings card to Prime Minister and also Awami League president Sheikh Hasina.

On behalf of BNP chairperson, a three-member delegation comprising of Assistant office secretaries Abdul Latif Jany, Asadul Karim Shahin and Shamimur Rahman Shamim handed over the greetings card to AL president’s Dhanmondi office around 11:30am.

Awami League central sub-committee assistant secretary Sikandar Ali received the greetings card.

Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is currently in the UK for medical treatment. She will celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha there with family members.

Earlier on Thursday, the prime minister has a greetings card to the BNP’s Naya Paltan central office. BNP Office secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon received the card.
