Manikganj: Police on Thursday afternoon arrested Manikganj district unit president of Islami Chhatra Shibir in sabotage cases.

The arrestee was identified as Nurul Islam (30), son of Abdul Gafur.

Confirming the matter, Manikganj Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Aminur Rahman told banglanews that they had arrested Nurul Islam from district bus stand area around 1:00pm.

He also said, Nurul Islam had been fugitive for many days in five sabotage cases.


The arrestee will be sent to the court, the OC added.
