DHAKA: Opposition Jatiya Party (JP) chairman and also prime minister’s special envoy HM Ershad said country’s law and order situation has deteriorated to such an extent that even children in the wombs are not safe here.

In a press conference at Jatiya Party’s Banani office, he also mentioned Gaibandha incident that injured child Sourabh bullet shot by Gabandha lawmaker Liton.

The former president of the country said, “The government has failed to improve law and order situation of the country. So, not only fellow citizens, but also foreigners came under gun attack by terrorists”.

For security concern, foreign investors are losing their confidence to the country, which will badly affect the flow of foreign investment, he added.

The special envoy to PM also alleged widespread politicization in public administration during the tenure of the incumbent government.

Urging the government to stop the massive politicization, he also blamed it for recent unexpected indents.
