DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Friday categorically said that there is no alternative of staging movements to ensure people’s freedom and fundamental rights in every stage of society and state.

The BNP chairperson came up with the assertion through a statement sent to media to commemorate Shahid Zehad Dibos Friday.

She also remembered the contributions of Najir Uddin Zehad during the movement against the autocratic rule of HM Ershad.

She further said Zehad sacrificed his life to reinstate democracy in the country.
