DHAKA: Opposition Jatiya Party (JP) chairman and also Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s special envoy HM Ershad commented that people will run after his party.

The former president also said that popularity of ruling Awami League (AL) is now at the lowest level.

‘All are waiting to say AL goodbye,’ he said, ‘we should utilize this opportunity. Otherwise, we will face a challenge of survival’.

HM Ersahd made these assertions while talking to the JP Rangpur divisional representatives at party headquarters in city’s Banani area on Sunday.

‘No one is our friend. We are our friends,’ the JP Chief said to inspire the party people, ‘Work to strengthen the party. Then people will move for the JP’.
