GAIBANDHA: A team of Detective Branch (DB) of police has taken ruling Awami League (AL) lawmaker from Gaibandha-1 constituency, Manjurul Islam Liton, to district DB office on Thursday morning.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of district DB police Shamim Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the DB team reached Gaibandha around 6:30am.

Earlier, a DB team picked up the lawmaker from a relative’s house at Uttara’s sector-5 area in city around 10:00pm on Wednesday in two cases filed for shooting an eight-year-old boy and vandalizing a house in Gaibandha.
