MOULVIBAZAR: The Chehlum of former social welfare minister Syed Mohsin Ali, who had died at a Singapore Hospital on September 14, held on Saturday.

The Chehlum was held at Minister’s home where state minister for social welfare Promod Mankin attended as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s representative.

Whip M Shahab Uddin, MP, also attended the Chehlum.

People from across religions attended the Chehlum.

Mohsin Ali, a lawmaker from Habiganj-3 constituency, served as president of Moulvibazar Awami League unit from 1998 to 2005.
