7 Jamaat-Shibir men held in Jhenaidah

JHENAIDAH: Police, in overnight drive, detained seven leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing, Islami Chhatra Shibir, from several areas of the district on charge of their involvement with sabotage.

Jhenaidah additional superintendent of police Azbahar Ali Sheikh confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He further said the detainees will be sent to the court at noon after quizzing.
