BENAPOLE (JESSORE): A team of detective branch (DB) of police arrested Sharsha Upazila unit BNP president Khairuzzaman Madhu, also Benapole C & F vice-president, from his residence in the upazila early Tuesday in a sabotage case.

Detainee’s son Sharifuzzaman Parag told banglanews that a team that identified themselves as DB police, arrested his father at the wee hours on Tuesday.

Sharsha police station officer-in-charge (OC) Monir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
