Tongi Thana BNP president arrested

GAZIPUR: Police arrested BNP’s Tongi Thana unit president and also former Upazila Parishad chairman Shen Shah Alam.

Tongi Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Firoz Talukdar informed banglanews on Saturday morning.

The BNP leader was arrested from his house around 11:00pm on Friday as he is accused in several vandalism cases, the OC added.
